Anyway, I would like to ask if turning off the computer would cause any harm to my 3.5 HDD. This is because I changed its policy to enable caching for better performance which means you must also "safely remove" when disconnecting the HDD. Hence, does that mean I have to safely remove the hard drive before I shutdown? P.S - http://www.sevenforums.com/t...-caching-enable-disable.html Last edited by Ruzama, 4 years and 6 months ago

Do AVI videos only work on the Wii after being converted with that Video 9 program? I want to watch AVI's using the SD card, not DVDs. I have a Apple Mac/OSX and Toast Titanium and it has popular gaming console conversion options, but none for the Wii. The Wii is supposed to be XVID compatible but it won't recognize the AVI torrent downloads.
check this out SS

P.S - http://www.sevenforums.com/t...-caching-enable-disable.html No, provided you shut down the computer normally and do not force it to shut down then everything should be fine, this is because windows takes care of everything for you during the shutdown process, you may even remove the hdd after shutdown safely if you wish, if you use sleep or hibernate though instead of shutdown then DO NOT remove the hdd. good idea!
